Delete your account
You can delete your Where's My Stuff account yourself, from inside the app. It takes effect immediately, and there is no waiting period and nothing to ask us for.
From the app
- Open Where's My Stuff and go to the You tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm your password if you signed up with one. If you use Google Sign-In there is no password to enter, so the confirmation button is the last step.
That is it. The account and its contents are removed as soon as you confirm — nothing is queued for later.
What gets deleted
Everything filed under the account, permanently and immediately:
- Your account itself — email address, name, password hash, and Google link.
- Every item, along with its name, description, category and tags.
- Every place and container you created.
- The full move history for every item.
- Every photo you uploaded, removed from our storage.
- Any promo codes the account had redeemed.
There is no undo and no recovery window. We cannot restore a deleted account, so export anything you want to keep before you start.
What we keep, and for how long
Nothing that identifies you. Server logs may briefly contain the request that performed the deletion, and those rotate on their own within days. Payment records held by Google Play are theirs, not ours — we never see your card details, and Google keeps its own transaction history under its policies.
Cancel your subscription first
Subscriptions are billed by Google Play, not by us, so deleting your Where's My Stuff account does not cancel one. Cancel through the Play Store first, otherwise billing continues even though the account is gone.
Can’t reach the app?
If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, email us from the address on the account at support@wheredatgo.com and we will delete it for you within 30 days. We may ask a question or two to confirm the account is yours before we do — otherwise anyone could delete anyone.
